Frontline Commando: WWII is a third-person shooting game where players control different Allied soldiers during World War II. The game is divided into dozens of short missions where you have to complete small objectives with snipers, assault soldiers, and artillery artificers.
In the sniper missions, you'll normally have to identify your objective first so you can deliver a deadly shot. In the assault missions, however, you’ll have to advance from trench to trench, annihilating any enemies that cross your path.
Whatever the mission, the control system in Frontline Commando: WWII is almost always the same: on the left you have a virtual joystick to move your character and on the right your buttons for shooting and reloading. In the center of the screen, you'll also see buttons for throwing grenades or ordering air strikes.
After completing missions, you'll receive money, and as usual for the genre, you can use it to upgrade your equipment. In fact, for some missions you’ll have to upgrade your rifle or machine gun to a certain level beforehand.
Frontline Commando: WWII is a shooting game set in the World War II that, despite not having a very original approach, offers an entertaining gaming experience. Its greatest feature: offering a series of very short missions that can be completed in less than two minutes.
